Homes in Spain – Mallorca

For the water sports lover, Mallorca has sea temperatures of 19 degrees in November and 7 hours of sunshine so with 550km of coastline there is plenty to explore. Hiking in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range is also a great way to explore the outdoors in the slightly cooler winter months as are golf and cycling.

Mallorca is the largest Balearic island and has a historic old city – Palma, with a cathedral, palace, seafront promenade and even boats some impressive Christmas lights. The local markets found here and dotted around the island, really highlight the quality of the fresh food on offer especially fish and pastries.

A great Mallorcan property to consider is on the Las Villas de Dalt de Sa Rapita development, built by Taylor Wimpey Espana. It is close to the famous Es Trenc beach and the homes are designed in a contemporary, minimalist style to offer spacious, bright rooms, maximising space and comfort.

The homes have 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a fitted kitchen and laundry room, living and dining room with pre-installation of a fireplace, large terraces and garden. The plot also includes a private parking space and a storeroom.

As these properties are still in the construction stage, the new owners may even have the opportunity to add in a  pool, heated flooring, air conditioning and garage and make sure the finish is to their taste.

Some of the resort names will be very familiar – Malaga, Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona. There is a real mix of history, contemporary, coast and history not to mention the restaurant scene, most famous in the upmarket resort of Benahavis.

To enjoy all the extra sunshine, residents enjoy golfing (including a Ryder Cup course), hiking and horse riding – all maximise the outdoor lifestyle.

The Botanic development in Benahavis is in the prefect location to take in all that the Costa del Sol offers.  It is a unique development, created in accordance with the criteria of sustainability, ecology and bioclimatic architecture. The buildings constructed on different ground levels optimize the views and provide an exceptional panorama of the surrounding area.

The gardened areas are a major part of the design, respecting the variety of species and indigenous trees in the area, with vertical gardens and green corridors that link each of the phases and envelop the residential buildings within a unique natural environment.

The development comprises 92 bright and spacious 3 bedroom homes, with incredible large terraces, all south facing. The 4 storey buildings are crowned by spacious penthouses with a modern design and spectacular solariums from which you can enjoy the views all day long from dawn to dusk.
