Taylor Wimpey España launches new Marbella development in response to strong demand

Leading Spanish home builder Taylor Wimpey España has launched Mare, a new development close to the seafront in Marbella.

The new Mare development (“mare” meaning “sea” in Latin) is in San Pedro de Alcántara, close to the beach and minutes from Puerto Banus and Marbella. The development, which represents an investment of €52 million into the area by Taylor Wimpey España, will provide spacious two- and three-bedroom apartments, along with substantial four-bedroom penthouses.

Properties at Mare will be constructed in compliance with the regulations contained in the new Technical Building Code (CTE), positioning the homes are at the forefront of the market and providing the highest levels of energy efficiency. In addition to the apartments, the development will include a large communal pool and gardens for owners to relax in.

The new launch follows a successful first half of 2023 for Taylor Wimpey España. The firm completed 228 homes during the first half of the year, compared with 203 during the first half of 2022, with an average selling price of €374,000.

The launch comes as the firm reveals that all but seven homes at its nearby development Terra have sold out within nine months.
