The beach, which stretches over 3 kilometers from Punta del Saladillo to the Dos Hermanas stream, offers good services. It features semifixed and embryonic dunes and the 16th-century Torre Almenara del Saladillo. This beach is in Estepona, located in the province of Málaga, Andalucía, on the Costa del Sol.

The environment is semi-urban with dunes and wetlands. The beach composition includes sand, pebbles, and gravel, with moderate wave conditions. It is not a nudist beach. The occupancy rate is medium, and it is an urbanized area with a promenade. The area is protected as a LIC (Place of Community Importance) called El Saladillo-Punta de Baños.
