House builder Taylor Wimpey España acknowledges that the economic climate has been tough for some time: ’2013 was probably the first year where we did not have permanent discussions with clients about the general situation in Spain. It is still not the best but it certainly seems to be improving steadily.’.  

Earlier this week, Marc Pritchard, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey de Espana, was positive about the outlook for Spanish property in 2012, commenting that further house price falls in highly desirable areas are unlikely, with growth anticipated in the most sought-after locations.
