    Discover Cadiz region

The province of Cádiz is extremely diverse, with regions well worth visiting such as La Campiña de Jerez de la Frontera, the villages scattered through Campo de Gibraltar, or a tour of the celebrated white towns, stopping to rest in any number of beautiful spots on the coast between Tarifa and Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

138 km of virgin beaches and well-served urban strands are found along Ibiza’s 260 km of coastline; small coves or sandy expanses stretching several kilometres; family-friendly beaches, others more private; tranquil waters or those swept by strong winds ‒ a windsurfer’s dream.

The coast is dotted with coastal towns and villages where visitors can enjoy the local fish and seafood so abundant in the area, try their hand at water sports or golf, and sunbathe or swim to their heart’s content on the immense beaches.

Any and every kind of sport is practised here: water sports, golf, horse riding, all manner of activities out in nature…
Andalusia is Europe’s leading tourist destination for golf thanks to the quality of its courses and their location in exclusive areas surrounded by beautiful scenery, many of them close to idyllic beaches.

Arts and crafts workshops reveal a treasure trove of wrought iron items, wood, wicker, fans, jarapa fabrics, ceramics, woven textiles, leather, leather craft for horses, glass, and so much more.
You’ll also find an endless supply of shopping centres.

The area enjoys a wide variety of ecologically rich natural spaces, boasting extraordinary biodiversity and their own natural resources; endangered animal species, unspoiled wetlands and coastal areas that have managed to preserve and respect the natural surroundings.

The cuisine of Cadiz is particularly influenced by the wine produced in the province and the wide variety of fish sourced from its coastlines, as well as its seafood and famous Sanlúcar de Barrameda king prawns. Not forgetting the artisan cheeses and meats from the mountain villages.
