Leading Spanish home builder Taylor Wimpey España has reported rising demand for properties in Spain. The firm completed 410 homes in 2023, with a total order book as at 31st December 2023 of 490 homes. That compares to 381 completions and an order book of 448 homes a year earlier. Buyers also sought more expensive properties in 2023, paying an average of €400,000 – an increase of 4.4% from the average price of €383,000 in 2022. Buyers were primarily Europeans and other international customers purchasing second homes, with a small proportion of purchases being primary homes for domestic Spanish buyers. “2023 was a positive year for property sales, with an increase in completions and our order book.
