Crowded as it is with A-listers, it is hardly surprising then that Puerto Banus draws in hordes of visitors intent on holidaying like the stars. Now, however, holidaymakers can live like their icons too, thanks to the stunning new Royal Banus Marbella resort from leading Spanish home builder  Taylor Wimpey Espana.

Built in 1970 by local property developer José Banús, the marina and upscale shopping complex of Puerto Banus is one of the glitziest destinations on Spain’s Costa del Sol. Superyachts and high end cars cruise through the area each summer, inspiring varying degrees of envy in those who view them. Interestingly, despite its luxury image, Puerto Banus doesn’t have to cost the earth, either as a holiday destination or as a location for a second home.
