UK to Spain Flight Market Named The Largest In Europe

The UK to Spain flight market has been named the largest in Europe this winter, according to the latest Official Airline Guide (OAG) data.

Compared to last year’s winter season, the market has grown by over 12% for the number of seats and flights between Spain and the UK, suggesting that more and more Britons are seeking winter sun and choosing Spain as their desired destination.

The UK-Spain relationship is not only good for airlines, but also for the Spanish property market.

The Sales and Marketing Director of Taylor Wimpey España, Marc Pritchard, explains: “The increase in the number of flights and seats available between Spain and the UK reaffirms the high demand for the Spanish sunshine, as Brits seek an escape from the dreary winter weather at home.
