‘Mallorca seems to be seeing the Monaco effect, and is attracting the rich and famous,’ says Ignacio Osle, sales director of estate agency Taylor Wimpey de España (taylorwimpeyspain.com). ‘Sales enquiries were up by 14.5% last year and there has been almost a 40% increase in tourists wanting holiday rentals this year.’
