TripAdvisor, the largest and most popular travel community in the world, has given the award Travellers Choices Destinations™, the city of Palma. This morning, Inma Solis, head of communications for TripAdvisor in Spain presented the award to the mayor of the city, Ms. Aina Calvo.
TripAdvisor’s Travellers Choice Destination Awards are based on millions of reviews and real opinions from the impartial TripAdvisor traveller. The winners were selected from a combination of reviews of destinations, favourite places, and the overall popularity of each destination on TripAdvisor.
Users have voted Palma as the 5th Best City in the World for families and, European travellers consider Palma as the 2nd best city in Europe, behind only Disneyland in Paris.
