Just five minutes west of Estepona port, to the west of the town centre, the El Cristo beach of Estepona and its shallow water makes it very much a weekend spot for families with children. This one is amongst the top beaches on the Costa del Sol, Spain.
It’s the clear, shallow water and fine quality sand allows parents to come their small children and splash around. While you kids enjoy playing and making friends, you can enjoy your day with the likes of beach activities: paddling, swimming and snorkelling.
For those food lovers, this one, too, has a few chiringuito serving the Andalusian favourite fish, tapas, snacks and mouth-watering seafood.
Hippo Beach, El Rosario, Marbella
Located in one of the high profile holiday apartment and villa areas of Marbella, the El Rosario, Hippo beach is a popular one among residents and tourists. If you want to spend some time with your family, this one is indeed one child-friendly beach on the coast.
The beach is area is quite wide and the water is shallow, where kids can play for hours. Due to the popularity on the coast, residents on the Costa del Sol often flock to this place and hence it gets quite busy on weekends.
Here you can park your vehicle right next to the beach, and the beach bar is just another nicest place to try to some of your favourite junk items such as burger, pizza, hot dog, etc. Over all, Hippo Beach in Marbella offers the best atmosphere and fun for a great family day out.
