Leading Spanish home builder Taylor Wimpey España has revealed a 40% jump in British reservations for its properties in the Costa del Sol (year-to-date September figures). A strong appetite for golf properties is driving the growth, with homes at both La Cala Golf Resort and Estepona Golf selling well. “The British love of golf is alive and well, with many golfers looking to Spain for year-round enjoyment of the sport. So far in 2023, we have sold homes to buyers of 44 different nationalities. Buyers can get plenty of property for their pounds in the Costa del Sol. Elegant, three-storey townhouses at Green Golf in Estepona, for example, cost from €335,000 plus VAT. The bright, spacious homes overlook the beautiful greenery of the course at Estepona Golf, with panoramic views extending down to the sea. The properties face south or southwest and have large terraces, as well as a communal pool. They will be key-ready at the end of October 2023.
