Ain’t too proud to beg

The Costa Blanca is buzzing with the news that The Temptations are coming to the Orihuela Costa for a one night only concert.

Since news started leaking out that the world famous Motown group were on their way, organisers Heatwave Promotions have been inundated with requests for tickets. All but a handful of the VIP tickets are now sold and orders are being received daily for standard tickets. Heatwave Promotions are presenting The Temptations, featuring Richard Street in conjunction with prestigious sponsors Moneycorp foreign exchange specialists and Spanish bankers Caja Murcia.

The event is also being heavily featured by radio station TKO.
The group features 3 times Grammy award winner Richard Street, lead singer since 1971. Detroit born Street’s vocals can be heard on such classics as Papa was a Rolling Stone and Superstar (remember how you got where you are). Richard has performed hundreds of shows with The Temptations over the years as a member of the group, visited dozens of countries worldwide, and along with other members past and present, was there when the group was inducted into the Rock-n-Roll Hall Of Fame in 1989.

This exciting event is being held at The Orihuela Costa Resort Hotel on Friday 3rd December with doors opening at 8.30pm. Tickets are on sale now for just €45 each or €55 for VIPs. There’s also the optional extra of a 4 course meal in the beautiful Orihuela Costa Resort Hotel restaurant prior to the show. The show will be compered by well known local performer, Suzy G with full support from a yet to be announced artist.

Tickets can be purchased from The Orihuela Costa Resort Hotel, The Post Room Benijofar, Sunworld in Los Dolses or by calling the ticket hotline numbers 966 792 595 or 965 724 939. Additionally, tickets can be ordered online by visiting the website at www.heatwavepromotions.com. An online payment facility allows for tickets to be paid for from the comfort of your own home and collected on the night of the show.

With 3  successful concerts behind them already, Heatwave Promotions have become a force to be reckoned with in the music promotions business in Spain. 2009 saw sell out concerts with The Drifters, Alexander O’Neal and The Real Thing. The Temptations gig has been timed to fall shortly before Christmas and is proving a real draw for businesses wanting something different for their staff Christmas parties this year.

Already booked for April 2011 are The Commitments featuring Dave Finnegan. Summer of next year will see a major name on the Costa with negotiations currently underway with Status Quo and Peter Andre. Heatwave Promotions are dedicated to bringing only original acts to Spain and if the hunger for Temptations tickets is anything to go by this is exactly what the music loving population of the Costa Blanca has been waiting for.
