84% of Britons prefer the Costa del Sol, new figures reveal

Taylor Wimpey España reveals runaway appetite for Costa del Sol homes

Leading Spanish home builder Taylor Wimpey España has revealed that 84% of Britons reserving homes with the company are choosing to do so in the Costa del Sol. While the firm’s properties in Mallorca and the Costa Blanca are attracting keen interest from buyers across the rest of Europe and beyond, it is the Costa del Sol that Britons have firmly in their sights.

Key-ready homes by the sea hold particular appeal for British buyers eager to enjoy the Spanish sunshine, according to the Taylor Wimpey España team. The firm’s current selection of key-ready properties highlights the diversity on offer in the Costa del Sol. Homes range from lakeside penthouses (at Marbella Lake – prices from €950,000 plus VAT) to golf homes with sea and mountain views (at Emerald Greens, where prices start from €375,000 plus VAT for a two-bedroom apartment and from €640,000 plus VAT for a penthouse).
