The United Nations Conference on Climate Change, which was due to be hosted in Chile but cancelled due to the recent unrest there, has now been confirmed as taking place in Madrid. It will run from 2 to 13 December 2019.   Spain is a good choice of host in terms of its environmental credentials. The 2018 Environmental Performance Index ranked Spain 12th globally (out of 180 countries) for its overall environmental friendliness. The study took both environmental health and ecosystem vitality into consideration.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
