The latest Blue Flag awards from the Association for Environmental Education and the Consumer (ADEAC) have seen Spain receive a global record-breaking 590 Blue Flags.<\/p>\n

The Valencia region alone is home to 132 Blue Flag beaches, while Andaluc\u00eda boasts 97. The coveted Blue Flag status is awarded based on a range of factors, including accessibility, health and safety, lifeguard provision and cleanliness.<\/p>\n
