As the Spanish summer heatwave continues, so too does the growing optimism surrounding its real estate market. According to the most recent findings published by Ernst & Young, Spain is now one of the top ten countries in the world most attractive to prospective investors.<\/p>\n
The ‘Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction Capital Confidence Barometer’ report revealed Spain has climbed seven places to be ranked ninth amongst the top countries of greatest interest to investors looking to make an acquisition in the upcoming months. This substantial rise up the ranks has led to Spain overtaking destinations including France and Italy.<\/p>\n
And it seems that savvy investors are already seeking out real estate within the Spanish market, as the latest figures from the National Statistics Institute (INE) show that residential property sales increased by 23.6% in May this year. These numbers are the highest recorded since January 2013, confirming the confidence being placed in the current property landscape.<\/p>\n
