Having a casino as a complementary offer to potential customers attracted by golfing, biking and hiking, will stimulate not only the number of hotel rooms occupied but also the\u00a0catering industry and commercial\u00a0sectors. This will extend the traditional seasonality of the sector\u00a0linked to holiday tourism as well as boosting occupancy levels.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The island only has one casino, Gran casino de Mallorca, which has benefitted hugely from a recent move from the leafy residential suburb of Calvia to a state-of-the-art, new \u20ac9m home at the Porto Pi Centre, a shopping mall at the western end of the Paseo Maritimo in the capital of Palma.
