Leading Spanish home builder\u00a0Taylor Wimpey Espa\u00f1a<\/a>\u00a0has launched 79 new homes at\u00a0Infinity<\/a>\u00a0in Mallorca, as part of what Regional Director for the Balearic Islands Chris Allison refers to as an \u201cexceptional\u201d \u20ac64M new development. Introducing the new homes, which are located just 25 minutes from Palma city centre, with Port d\u2019Andratx, Puerto Portals and Port Adriano all within 10-15 minutes\u2019 drive, he comments:

\u201cInfinity is a truly unique development, with all 79 properties enjoying 100% sea views. This exceptional development is one of the last new larger developments in southwest Mallorca, which is possibly one of the most sought-after regions on the island.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>

Appetite for new build homes in Spain is strong, with the 2025 Residential Property Market from Colegio Registradores (Spain\u2019s national body of registrars) revealing a 13.3% rise in new build sales last year (compared to an increase of 10.1% for resale transactions). Overall, the Spanish market is going from strength to strength, with 2025 representing the strongest activity in terms of sales in nearly 20 years. Prices also reflect the strength of demand, with the average price rising by 9.5% year-on-year to reach an all-time high of \u20ac2,284\/m\u00b2.

The active market conditions are underpinned by strong demand from both Spanish and international homebuyers, with Colegio Registradores reporting that the latter accounted for 13.82% of all home purchases in Spain during 2025. Britons remained the largest single international buyer group during the year, accounting for 7.97% of all foreign purchases.

Developments such as Infinity highlight why Britons are so enamoured with property in Spain. Its superb coastal location is just 30 minutes from Palma Airport, while the amenities of Paguera are within a 10-20-minute stroll. The local area is also home to several excellent golf courses, five of them within a 15-minute drive of Infinity.

The spectacular sea views are a major draw, with every apartment offering views across the water to the Malgrats Islands, a protected natural area and one of the most iconic landscapes in the region.

Spread across five buildings, Infinity\u2019s 79 homes include two- and three-bedroom apartments with spacious terraces (private gardens on the ground floor) and penthouses with private rooftop solariums, designed to attract a mix of fulltime residents, second home buyers and retirees, building a strong, mixed community of Spanish and international residents. The development\u2019s southeast orientation maximises natural light and celebrates Infinity\u2019s open, sea-facing environment, while its five communal infinity pools are set within beautifully landscaped gronds. Rated \u2018A\u2019 for their energy performance, the homes are due for completion in October 2028. Prices start from \u20ac900,000 plus VAT.

Demand for such premium homes is reflected in the Colegio Registradores data. 12.22% of foreign purchases exceeded \u20ac500,000 in 2025, the highest figure on record. At the same time, Spain\u2019s robust economy, which grew by 2.8% in 2025 and saw unemployment drop to its lowest level since 2008, is underpinning growth in domestic demand.
