While most buyers purchase their property off plan with Taylor Wimpey Espa\u00f1a<\/a>, the leading Spanish home builder is keen to show that routes to buying can be more versatile. With that in mind, the company is showcasing a limited selection of key-ready homes close to beaches and golf courses in the Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca and Mallorca.

Sales and Marketing Director Marc Pritchard explains:
\u201cBuying a brand-new home that\u2019s ready to move into offers distinct advantages. We\u2019re keen to highlight these in relation to buying second homes, investment properties or fulltime residences in Spain, to ensure the purchasing experience is the one that\u2019s most appropriate to each individual buyer.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>

Being able to enjoy the property from day one is, of course, the headline advantage compared to buying off plan. At Breeze<\/a> in Alicante, for example, families can buy a four-bedroom villa (prices start from \u20ac555,000 plus VAT) and make the most of the coming summer \u2013 though they\u2019ll need to act fast, as just two villas remain available. The completed homes offer A-rated energy certification, high-quality fixtures and fittings and sea views.

The communal amenities at Breeze, which include swimming pools and gardens, are also complete. This is another key benefit of buying a completed new home \u2013 the ability to assess the facilities and neighbourhood first-hand. With developments that are still under construction, these are largely hypothetical. Buyers can also get a feel for the established community and resident culture, as well as for practical elements such as traffic and noise levels.

In addition to assessing the local neighbourhood liveability, those buying key-ready homes also gain maximum transparency into the property itself. They can assess the views, privacy, natural light, ventilation, build quality and finishes not based on the development\u2019s show home but for the actual home they\u2019re considering purchasing. While show homes provide an outstanding opportunity to see how a property could look and feel once furnished \u2013 the show home at Altura 160<\/a> in Benahavis being a case in point \u2013 buying a key-ready home means buyers can assess all the aspects specific to that individual property.
