Leading Spanish home builder Taylor Wimpey Espa\u00f1a<\/a> is extolling the virtues of sustainably built properties, offering a string of A-rated homes along the coastline of the Costa del Sol. The key-ready properties have been designed to suit the demands of contemporary buyers and offer a range of financial, social and health and wellbeing benefits, as Taylor Wimpey Espa\u00f1a\u2019s Sales and Marketing Director Marc Pritchard explains:

\u201cBuyers now are much more attuned to the benefits that sustainably designed homes offer. The social side of buying an A-rated home \u2013 that is, the reduced environmental impact \u2013 is important to them, but so are the financial benefits. Well insulated properties with aerothermal heating can deliver significant energy cost savings. They also offer the potential for a higher resale value, by meeting the needs of future buyers, who will likely be even more focused on sustainable features.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>

The Home Builders Federation (HBF) reports that newly built homes emit 65% less carbon than older properties and that they reduce the cost of heating, hot water and lighting by 50%.
Taylor Wimpey Espa\u00f1a points to the health and wellbeing benefits that A-rated homes offer, as well as their financial advantages. Pritchard continues:
