If there is something that is becoming a tradition it is the summer nights of Marbella and it is the Starlite Festival 2014, which is celebrating its third edition this year.
Considered as one of the leaders in Europe festivals, Starlite has a daily schedule full of fashion, music, film and art. Starlite Festival concerts will be held in La Cantera de Marbella, an amazing open-air auditorium with a seating capacity of 2,200 people, which makes it an intimate venue. It has restaurants and a bars and pubs area which is open all day. The concerts take place during the summer nights with the top artist of the national and the international scene.
TOM Jones and The Beach Boys have been added to Marbella’s Starlite festival line-up for this summer, joining the Pet Shop Boys.
The Starlite festival, now in its third year, will also see Kool and the Gang, Gloria Gaynor and Julio Iglesias take to the stage. The event will run from July 23 to August 23 in the Marbella Auditorium, the only club in the world in a quarry.
The Beach Boys will open the festival on July 23, while Welsh national hero Tom Jones will play on August 17.
The daily programme includes music, fashion, art, film and gastronomy.
