Challenge 2017 – Taylor Wimpey España

Fund Raising Challenge 2017 – Taylor Wimpey España

The 2017 Challenge is a fund raising event for two charities (50% each): Youth Adventure Trust and Fundació Down I Més.

The Taylor Wimpey de España Team is committed to work together to raise as much money as possible, as well as to face a true test of tenacity and effort by climbing up the 24 highest peaks in the Lake District in 24 hours (in 2 days) or completing the Tizzie Wizzie Challenge, 14 peaks in 10 hours (1 day).

“Youth Adventure Trust” works with vulnerable young people from 11 to 14 years old. Their personal circumstances make it difficult for them to make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. The three-year school program uses outdoor adventure to inspire them and give them the hope, confidence and skills to meet their personal challenges and exceed their expectations.

Fundación Down I Més” Is a non-profit foundation created by a group of parents concerned about the present and future of their children with Down Syndrome and to defend all their rights within society. The support of qualified personnel in close collaboration with the family, from birth and during all stages their lives, is essential. To achieve these goals, the Down I Més Foundation have created a series of work programs aimed at improving the quality of life of people with Down Syndrome and their families.
