A number of acts applied earlier in the year to take part in this special competition and a final 20 were selected to compete against each other. There will be singers, dancers, acrobats and magicians all hoping to become the winner of the event and receive the cash prize of €3,000 although all of the others will receive €200 for making the last 20.

Judges will be Jorge Safer a well-established professional dancer, Juanjo Martin a composer and member of Butterfly Effect, and Cristina Balsera, director of the ‘Malaga Yo Canto’ school as well as being a coach and singer in her own right.

The opening rounds will see all 20 hopefuls performing on August 25 and 26 with 10 finalists presenting their acts again on August 27 before the winner is announced.

Very aware that there will be a number of visitors to the shopping centre with hearing difficulties, the organisers have arranged for an interpreter who will attend and use sign language to narrate the event.
